Adidas Originals: Jeremy Scott

Jeremy Scott is at it again. For the upcoming Fall/Winter 2010 season, Jeremy Scott, in collaboration with Adidas, will reveal the new Leather Wings 2.0 high tops. In his previous Adidas line, the wings were connected to the laces. This was interesting; Scott has always had a knack for toying with the classic look of great sneakers. In this newest version, though, the wings have been moved to the heal. Why? So they look that much better. The only colorway seen until now has been classic white/black, but knowing the extravagant Jeremy Scott, there are most likely some flashy colors on the way. Scott no doubt gives Adidas Originals by Originals Collection a rush of energy with the signature wings and lace locks. They will be availbe later this year.

Adidas Originals: Star Wars Collection

Keeping with the Star Wars theme, we’ve stumbled upon a video campaign for the new Adidas Originals Star Wars Collection. Like many other video campaigns this one is in slow motion, it takes place during the night, and it highlights young attractive people partying with a handful of celebrities. You might notice – among Darth Vader and a few Storm Troopers – Snoop Dogg, Daft Punk, and David Beckham. But what stands out in this particular video are the subtle yet powerful Star Wars images and hip-hop themed tracks (the DJ, Neil Armstrong, also makes an appearance.) So if you’re in the mood for break dancing with storm troopers, playing baseball in the dark or foot-racing on a crowded city street (or just walking around), you might find something you like in the 2010 Adidas Originals Star Wars Collection.

Just keep running, like the little girl from Forrest Gump said. Maybe I can hide up there in the chicken coop. But the air – it’s so thick; and if I just had a moment’s breathe. And as you start to slow by the bridge, you hear the sound of the giant footsteps return. Panicked, you realize that you have no option but to jump. You take the plunge; but the giant follows. It’s a highway duel, and now, your only option is a dangerous one. You take the high road; and from that point on it was all adrenaline. And space was removed from time until the chase became a vacuum of thought and sound. Will the giant make his move, running away in laughter?
